The botanical Kew Gardens is one of my favorite places in London. It vibrates with life and makes my soul happy, and when my mother came to visit last week I wanted her to see it too. While she got lost in the plants and the flowers I wanted to see the people.
Komorebi (木漏れ日) (n.) japanese word describing the interplay between light and leaves when sunlight shines through trees. I’ve always had a fascination for trees. When I was a kid and had to paint or draw something I always picked trees as a subject, then later on I began photographing them.
