Rain walk and flower picking

After two months of indoors isolation, we finally got a chance to go out. Of all the things I missed, being out in nature is what I longed for the most. It's been raining continuously here for the past two days, and it's just wonderful. So I took my camera and went out for a little walk and got some elderflowers and some acacia too.

The audio gets a bit funky at some point (sorry about that) and it's not the best montage, but it's as good as I could make it with Windows Photos app. 😀

The hidden stories of trees

The fantastic breaks the crust of appearance … something grabs us by the shoulders to throw us outside ourselves. I have always known that the big surprises await us where we have learned to be surprised by nothing, that is, where we are not shocked by ruptures in the order. - Julio Cortazar

Komorebi

Komorebi (木漏れ日)

(n.)  japanese word describing the interplay between light and leaves when sunlight shines through trees.

I've always had a fascination for trees. When I was a kid and had to paint or draw something I always picked trees as a subject, then later on I began photographing them.
